Exhibitor Agreement

Kansas Association for the Education of Young Children State Conference

Liability:  Kansas Association for the Education of Young Children (KAEYC), their exhibits manager, Kansas State University or its officers or employees will be responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may arise to an Exhibitor, employees, and/or goods either while in transit to or from the building, or while in the building, from any cause whatsoever, and will not be liable for the fulfillment as to delivery of space beyond the conference Committee’s/Representative’s control.

Exhibitor agrees to hold KAEYC blameless and to reimburse them for any judgment’s, settlements, costs or other expenses (including legal fee’s) to which they may be subject for any injury, damage loss, or harm resulting or occurring to anyone (including visitors) which may result directly from or in connection with such exhibitors or the use of the rented space by the exhibitor, the employees or representatives.

Management Rights:  Management reserves the right to restrict exhibits which become objectionable because of noise, method of operation, materials, or in general detract from the general character of the KAEYC State Conference, or which compromise the safety or security of the building or patrons of the Kansas State Union.

Sales:  Sales will be made only to KAEYC conference participants wearing a name badge.  Exhibitors cannot sell books at the conference, but can take orders for them.

Care of the Building and Equipment:  Exhibitors or their representatives must not damage nor deface the walls of the building, or the tables, or equipment.  If such damage occurs, the exhibitor is liable to the owner of the property damaged.  All materials used in the decoration must be flame-proofed.

Use of the Space:  All demonstrations or other promotional material or activities must be confined to the limits of the exhibit booth.

Security:  The Union will provide periodic checks by security during the hours the exhibit area is closed and the rooms will be locked.  However, the exhibitor is solely responsible for his/her own exhibit materials and should insure against loss or damage.  All property of the exhibitor is understood to remain in his/her care, custody and control in transit to, and from and within the confines of the exhibit area.
