KAEYC Annual Awards Nominees Wanted

Nominate your choice of outstanding Kansas individuals / agencies.  Presentations will be made this fall at the 2014 KAEYC Professional Development Event -- October 18th -- in Manhattan.  Please nominate the deserving people you know.  Nominations are due before September 30th, 2014.


The categories are:  

A.  Outstanding Yearly Service Award             B.  Outstanding Extended Service Award

C.  Outstanding Lifetime Award                      D.  Community Service Award


Eligibility:  (Categories A-C)  Any KAEYC member in good standing with the local (if applicable) and state affiliate.  No individual may receive the Outstanding Extended or Outstanding Lifetime Service Award more than once.  


Outstanding Yearly Service Award:  Executed AEYC activities at the state or local level which have identifiable results and accomplishments over at least a one-year period.  Nominees must be a member of KAEYC and involved in local affiliate group or local community with regards to children's issues.  


Outstanding Extended Service Award:  Executed AEYC activities at the state or local level which have identifiable results and accomplishments over at least a three to five year period.  Nominees must be a member of KAEYC and involved in local affiliate group or local community with regards to children's issues.    


Outstanding Lifetime Award:  Executed AEYC activities at the state or local level which have identifiable results and accomplishment cover at least a ten year period.  Nominees must be a member of KAEYC and involved in local affiliate group or local community with regards to children's issues.  


Community Service Award:  A person or organization who has made a visible contribution to the public sector and has made an impact on the early childhood community.
